Is the Aerolase safe for darker skin tones?
Yes. It is one of the features that sets the Aerolase Neo Elite apart. Most traditional lasers carry a risk of pigmentation changes on darker skin. The Neo Elite's 650-microsecond technology is specifically designed to be safe and effective across all skin tones.
Does it hurt?
Most people describe it as a warm sensation — not painful. There's no numbing cream needed for most treatments. It's one of the more comfortable laser experiences available.
Is there any downtime?
No. That's one of the biggest advantages of this laser. You can come in on your lunch break and go right back to your day. Some people notice mild redness for a few hours after treatment, but nothing that requires recovery time.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on what we're treating. For maintenance and general glow, some clients do a single session every 4–6 weeks. For corrective concerns like rosacea, hyperpigmentation or acne scarring, a series of treatments spaced a few weeks apart typically gets the best result. We'll put together a plan at your consultation.
When will I see results?
Many people notice improvement after the very first session. Results continue to develop over the following weeks as your skin responds to the treatment. For concerns that require multiple sessions, results build progressively.
What's the difference between Corrective and Rejuvenation?
The Corrective treatment uses more targeted energy to address specific visible concerns, such as sun damage, broken vessels, redness and uneven tone. The Rejuvenation treatment is gentler and focused on maintaining healthy, glowing skin. If you're not sure which one fits you, the consultation will sort that out.
